SUMMARY:
The recently certified LEED Gold Wuxi YunFu Building is a magnificent 53-story development in the heart of Wuxi, China. The large landmark complex consists of business, dining, shopping and entertainment facilities, and 134-unit luxury Ascott serviced residences. The design concept combines ecology, environmental protection, and cultural characteristics with a modern urban lifestyle.

The project achieved exceptionally high marks related to sustainable site criteria due to the urban location and pedestrian-friendly planning of the building with relation to adjacent sites. Walkability features include the adjacent public plaza, subway station entrance, wide public walkways, hidden parking below ground, and service bays located only beyond view. The building also achieves high water efficiency through the installation of low-flow and water saving fixtures in public areas and residence apartments, as well as zero potable water use for irrigation.
